When will my Sunscription payments occur each month?
When will my Sunscription payments occur each month?
Updated over a week ago

The exact day that you receive a statement from Sunscription is based on what electric utility you have and your billing cycle with them. Once Sunscription receives the official energy production data from your utility, you will receive a statement email from dashboard.us-solar.com that shows how much energy your Solar Garden produced during the previous period and the payment due.

Additionally, the exact day your payment to Sunscription processes successfully is based on the payment method you choose and the Scheduled Date listed on your statement.

You can view your past statements by logging into Sunscription. As a reminder, Sunscription is configured with autopay, so there is no need for you to take action to pay the amount due each month.

Xcel Energy has adjusted all Minnesotan community solar subscribers' billing cycles to better align with when their team measures the energy produced at your Solar Garden (see this article for more information). This collaboration between your utility and Sunscription means the timing of your Solar Credits and payments are relatively predictable.

Mid-month, each month, you will receive your statement from Sunscription with charges associated with the energy produced during the previous month. Similarly, you can expect the Solar Credits on your electric bill in any given month to reflect the previous calendar month's credit amount.

That means, if you are looking for your charges from July's energy production, you will be able to see that reflected on the statement you receive from Sunscription in mid-August. The Due Date is scheduled for 10 days after the Statement Date; that way you have a heads up before our system attempts to withdraw the amount due. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, the withdrawal can take a few days to process.

Illinois residents

Illinois residents will receive their statement from Sunscription once a month around the middle of each month. Depending on your utility billing cycle, this may be a few days or several weeks after you received the corresponding kWh credit on your electric bill.
