How to Verify Your Bank Account

Payment Method: Bank Account Verification

Updated over a week ago

When you add your bank account (routing and account number) to your Sunscription account, Stripe—our payment processor—will initiate a verification process to confirm ownership of the account.

This is done through a $0.01 micro-deposit, which includes a unique verification code in the transaction description. The deposit typically appears in your account within 1–2 business days after updating your payment method.

Descriptor Code Format

A single $0.01 deposit will appear in your bank account

The deposit’s description will start with a code in this format:

"SM1234" – the letters “SM” followed by 4 digits.

Look Out for an Email from Stripe

Once the micro-deposit is sent, you’ll receive an email from [email protected] with a link to verify your bank account.

To Complete the Verification:

Open the email from [email protected]

Follow the link provided to Stripe's secure verification page

Enter the 4-character code found in your bank deposit after the "SM".

Attempt Limits

You’ll have up to 10 attempts to enter the correct code

(If all attempts are used or the deposit expires, you’ll need to restart the process)
