How to Verify Your Bank Account

Payment Method: Bank Account Verification

Updated yesterday

Verifying Your Bank Account

When you add your bank account details manually instead of using Plaid—which allows you to securely log in to your online banking account to authorize the connection between your bank and your Sunscription account—you must complete a verification process.

Our payment processor, Stripe, will send a micro-deposit to your bank account. You will then need to confirm the deposit received to validate your account. This security measure helps protect your account.

This can happen in one of two ways:

$0.01 Deposit with Code

  • Stripe will send a single $0.01 deposit to your bank.

  • In the deposit description, you’ll see a code in this format: SM1234 (the letters “SM” followed by 4 numbers or letters).

OR

Two Small Deposits

  • Stripe may send two small deposits (for example, $0.55 and $0.15).

(These deposits typically appear in your account within 1–2 business days after updating your payment method in your Sunscription account.)

Next Steps – Check Your Email

  • You will receive an email from [email protected] titled “Verify your bank account for United States Solar Corporation.” Please follow the link in the email to complete your verification.

To finish verification:

  1. Open the email and click the link at the bottom "Verify Now".

  2. You will be directed to a secure page to validate your bank account by entering the micro-deposit details received.

Alternatively: You can call us and provide the micro-deposit information over the phone to complete verification.

✅ Once you enter this information, your bank account will be verified and ready for payments.

Attempt Limits

You’ll have up to 10 attempts to enter the correct code

(If all attempts are used or the deposit expires, you’ll need to restart the process)
